These flowering perennials are among the earliest to bloom in the spring garden in Utah. Hellebores – or Lenten Rose – are also an excellent choice for a shade garden. They are available in several colors and they have interesting foliage. Plant them in clumps and patches under deciduous trees for a nice spring show.
