Kitchen note: Easy Vegetables for Home Cooks Who Want Fresher Meals is written for home cooks who want practical, seasonal food ideas without wasting ingredients or time. Use these notes as a starting point for fresher meals, better pantry planning, and simple weeknight cooking.
Ok, these are the no-brainers. Well, not exactly. You do need to tend them (watering, weeding, feed the soil, etc.) and watch for a few diseases and pests. But, for the most part, these vegetable plants LOVE our Utah climate and will produce good crops for you!
- tomatoes
- squash
- green beans
- onions
- peppers
- radishes
