Oh Boy, did we ever have a hailstorm in the Salt Lake Valley ! Some places had hailstones over an inch in diameter. Needless to say, this caused a lot of damage to leaves on plants and trees. If your garden got hit, the best thing to do is wait a few days and see how the plants recover – or not. If plants are completely stripped of leaves, maybe they should be pulled out and replaced. Well established plants with some remaining leaf material might be able to grow new leaves. Time will tell.
